Major depression can include: psychotic depression with some type of psychosis, such as disturbing false beliefs or a break with reality (delusions) or hearing or seeing upsetting things that others cannot hear or see (hallucinations).
Other type of major depressive disorders include postpartum depression,. seasonal affective disorder (which is characterized the onset of depression during winter months), which there is less natural sunlight. Bipolar Disorder also called manic depressive illness can be a factor which includes major depression.
